Ramos: My relationship with Ronaldo is fine

Sergio Ramos has sought to rubbish reports suggesting that there is a rift between him and RealMadrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Differences of opinion with Cristiano over Real's squad: "There's never been anything in it. I think that there's always been a great friendship between Cristiano and me".

But Ramos played that down, saying the pair got along fine albeit with some disagreements.

'Nothing has ever happened between him and me, ' the defender told TVE.

"As the coach, this situation is not ideal, but we will improve and in the end we will be up there".
