HMD Global, which celebrated its first birthday on December 1, is apparently gearing up to host a big event in China on the 19 of January. However, MyDrivers notes that the handset will come for custom software aimed at the Chinese market, so it remains unclear whether the handset will see a UK release.

Alongside the launch date and images of the Nokia 9, some of the specs and also the price of the phone have been leaked online. Heres the deal: all current Nokia models (which launched with Android 7.x Nougat) will not get Treble.

New Nokia phones come with clean Android and a promise of fast updates, but it turns out they are still not equals to the Pixels – at least not as far as Project Treble is concerned. Chances are that we may see Nokia 9 is two variants - one with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the high-end version of the phone may boast a 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The 64GB variant of the Nokia 9 may be priced at around CNY 3,699 (Rs 35,965 approx.) while the 128GB storage variant might be priced at CNY 4,199 (Rs 40,826 approx.).

Few days back company released the protective case of Nokia 9 that described the entire build of Nokia 9.

Soon after HMD Global announced the Nokia 8 earlier this year, a company executive confirmed the existence of the Nokia 9.

The new report suggests that both the phones, including Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 2018 edition may come with some very similar features like - 18:9 display and will be powered by Qualcomm's latest processor Snapdragon 835 chipset. Some of the other key features that the duo will share include IP67 certification for dust and water resistance, a dual-camera setup at the rear, and USB Type-C audio.
