Nokia 1 hands-on images leak

Unsurprisingly, detail decreases even more when indoors or in low-light scenarios, and there's a noticeable loss of sharpness too, with strong softness often visible near the edges of the frame. The camera and LED lens on one image is covered by a polycarbonate, whereas the module is surrounded by glass in the other photo.

Just like the rest of Nokia's Android smartphone line-up, the Nokia 6 (2018) runs on a pure and untouched version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box devoid of unneeded gimmicks and overlays. Android Go is meant specifically for handsets which offer modest specs.

The alleged Nokia 1 in the first image seems to be wrapped in a case and the second one is the actual device without any cover.

"Either way, the next Nokia 6 still holds big promises to become a huge success as it will arrive with Snapdragon 630, 4GB of RAM, 5.5" full HD screen, 3000mAh battery and USB Type-C.

Neither picture is dated though, so it's possible these pictures are old and HMD Global has in fact begun final production on the Nokia 1.

There are two images of the phone leaked online. The smartphone will make its debut on MWC, say experts.

HMD Global filed an application to gain control of the Asha name. This feature, termed as 'Bothie' by HMD Global, was first seen in the Nokia 8 back in 2017. The US-based search giant is also rumoured to be working with domestic handset makers such as Micromax, Intex, Lava, Karbonn to launch handsets as cheap as Rs 2,000 ($31).

Recent leaks have showcased the Nokia 1 with a similar design language. This edition of the OS is optimized to work budget smartphones.
