While the firm has been making waves with its Mi MIX2 and Mi A1, there are reports that the firm will soon debut the Mi 7.

Rumors are rife that Xiaomi is about to unveil the successor of the ultra-bezel-less Mi MIX 2 smartphone in the coming months. The screenshot reveals that the Snapdragon 845 chipset will be under the hood, carrying an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 630 GPU. Now, detailed specifications and features of the upcoming Mi 7 smartphone have been leaked online. Xiaomi had announced back in December that the Mi 7 would be the company's first phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor. The Mi 7 could ship with the company's latest MIUI 9 user-interface. The front of the device features the selfie camera to the top-right corner. Interestingly, an unofficial render leaked by Nigerian site Ninjatech suggests Mi 7 might feature a traditional fingerprint scanner on the back, like the Galaxy S8. Rumors have been claiming that the Mi MIX 2S may arrive during this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, but according to the info provided by our source, that will not happen, as Xiaomi doesn't plan to launch any major phones at MWC 2018. On the connectivity front, the Mi 6 includes the basic options along with latest Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.0 port. The phone will come with a 5.6-inch Full HD+ display, in-line with most other flagship smartphones released past year, according to Telecom Talk. Furthermore, the phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The unit will also offer a dual camera setup, with two 16MP sensors on the rear. There's no way to confirm the authenticity of these leaked specs, so we advise you to take the information with a pinch of salt for now. However, it is not known what version of Android it runs- Android Nougat or Android Oreo.
